A Healing at the Christfire

And, if we of God stand strong and tall, ready to receive,

We have not found it easy to do so; it has been our life-long lesson.

And often it became a sad realization which we had not expected would bring us so much pain.

Yet, the time finally arrived when the pain overshadowed the hope.

And a heavy rain was needed to wash away the old,

And these things are now—finally—being released into the Fire of Hope,

Things which we can throw away

In order to make room for our many blessings

Which we have for so long faithfully waited.

Receiving them, our tears form rivers of present-time

Life which flows through us now

Like the songs of our ancestors,

Those suffering who could see into the future and know

How the sun would eventually come to heal all wounds and

All the dark corners of hopelessness.

And how this sun would come to take us into its burning arms

And sing to us a lullaby so sweet

That we would tremble with joy and gratitude—

Gratitude so great

That it would shake the whole earth

Into submission.

Of realization so strong

That we would begin to

Receive like we always knew we could.

And when this happens, time will stop

And all love blossom

In us and into

All eternity,

So we can stand strong and tall,

Ready to receive as we now know—

As we now so well may do.
